Whatever changes need to be made to the premises before you move out, our obligated team will handle it.

We deliver the perfect strip out that will meet your landlord’s expectations and lease obligations, taking the stress off you.

  When you vacate a tenancy, you are generally required to “make good” and return your tenancy back to its original state. Your landlord will issue you with a “Scope of Works” detailing the requirements of your make good shop strip out.  Upon appointing My Defit as your contractor we will contact your landlord and facilitate the entire process which, includes: Confirmation that we possess all required permits, documents, insurances to undertake such works. Providing the landlord with items such as: A Program Of Works detailing what we intend on doing and when Public Liability Insurance Rehabilitation Policy Job Safety Analysis and Safe Work Method Statement Work Cover Certificate  

What we generally do during a Defit/Strip out if necessary 

• Initial assessment of your requirements and your landlords “scope of works”
• Inspection, condition and make good reports 
• Providing full Insurance documentation including any other documents that are required.
• Protection of landlord assets
• Wall, ceiling and fixture re-instatement where necessary or removal
• Repairing or replacement of grid ceilings
• Removing tenant installed data and power cabling and providing certification on completion
• Replacing and Re configuring lighting/exit and emergency lighting back to base building layout and provide certification on completion
• Removing all furniture and fittings
• Removing all tenant installed partitions
• Painting walls to original colours
• Replacing/restoring floor coverings as required
• Restoring fire and mechanical services to original base building layout
• Full ‘Back to Base’ de-fit and makegood
• Cleaning of all internal and external areas
• Waste disposal of all building and waste material
